Unique Beads

Handmade Lampwork Glass beads are some of the most unique and unusual beads available to collectors and jewelry designers. Each bead is made one at a time, and with borosilciate beads the colors are very difficult to duplicate. If you want to create exclusive designs then artisan lampwork beads are a wonderful choice!

Etsy Catalog

Here is a listing of recently handmade lampworked glass beads, made with borosilicate glass, melted in a torch and annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability. You can purchase my work at the online marketplace called Etsy! If you’ve never browsed Etsy before you are in for a real treat!

Handmade Boro Beads

June has already been filled with a few hundred of my handmade lampwork boro beads. Incredible considering how I took a couple of days off! The heat has been building, 85 degrees, which is pretty hot for Flagstaff Arizona; time at the torch was less appealing this weekend. So I enjoyed a day off with friends instead. Here are some beads that reflect the summer heat,

Busy May

This has been a great month for making my handmade boro lampworked beads! Very few days have gone by without me making new beads, and I love it! The kiln is fired up each morning, and the torch is getting a good workout! I am finally back to the point of bead saturation where I think in terms of melting glass.

Old ideas, new application

Yesterday I was inspired to re-visit an old design, abstract kitty cats and dragonflies. This time they have been improved and polished for maximum wearabililty. Working the borosilicate glass in the flame is amazing! You get to see the whole process of solid moving to liquid and back again. Lampworking is one of the most amazing experiences!

Also, my most recent Roman chain, 16 inches of handmade chain! I make each link and painstakingly fuse and weave them into this shape.
